Build systems that matter.
How AFAAQ works, which disciplines hold the work, and any positions currently open.
How we work
Read from the same model as everything else.
Multidisciplinary
Disciplines that actually connect.
Work is held by disciplines rather than by a single generalist pool, and those disciplines are connected — each one declares who it genuinely works with, and the resulting graph is fully connected. Nobody here builds in isolation from the people who secure, test and operate what they build.
11 disciplines / 27 declared collaborations
Architecture-led
Architecture happens before build, not during it.
Architecture is the second stage of the delivery model, ahead of design and build. Decisions about boundaries, layers and integration are made while they are still cheap to make, and the people who make them stay with the system afterwards.
Stage 02 of 8, before design and build
Security-aware
Security is everyone's surface.
Security controls cross every layer of an AFAAQ system rather than sitting at the end of one, and the security continuum never drops to zero across the lifecycle. That means security is not one discipline's job to bolt on — it is a property every discipline contributes to.
7 controls across 6 layers / 25 crossings / always on
Quality-driven
Validation runs the whole way through.
Quality is a continuum across all eight delivery stages with its peak at validation, not a phase at the end. Work is expected to be reviewable, testable and explainable while it is being written.
Continuous validation across 8 stages, peaking at validate
